Dodgers purchase reliever Connor Brogdon from Phillies


CHICAGO — The Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired righty reliever Connor Brogdon from the Philadelphia Phillies for lefty minor league pitcher Benony Robles, the groups introduced Saturday.

Brogdon, 29, was designated for project this week after showing in three video games for Philadelphia. Starting his fifth season with the Phillies, he allowed six runs over two innings.

Robles, 23, went 4-2 with a 3.86 ERA in 33 video games for Excessive-A Nice Lakes final season. In 5 minor league campaigns, he was a mixed 13-16 with a 4.67 ERA and 277 strikeouts in 250â…” innings. He is been within the Dodgers’ group since 2017.
