DALLAS — Mavericks star Luka Doncic is listed as questionable for Saturday afternoon’s Sport 3 towards the Oklahoma Metropolis Thunder due to a proper knee sprain and left ankle soreness.
Doncic, who has been taking part in on the sprained knee since struggling that damage in Sport 3 of Dallas’ first-round collection towards the LA Clippers, hobbled and grabbed his left ankle after getting his toes twisted up with Thunder reserve guard Cason Wallace whereas pushing the ball up the ground early within the fourth quarter of Thursday’s Sport 2.
Doncic remained within the recreation, hitting a step-back 3-pointer on the Mavs’ subsequent possession, and completed with 29 factors, 10 rebounds and seven assists within the series-tying 119-110 win.
“He simply stepped on my foot, however nothing severe,” Doncic stated postgame. “I do know he did not do it on goal, so nothing severe. We simply thought it was a foul. Different individuals would get a foul name on that one.”
Doncic, the NBA’s regular-season scoring chief, is averaging 28.4 factors, 8.6 rebounds and 9.1 assists per recreation through the playoffs.
