The Washington Nationals reinstated Lane Thomas from the 10-day injured checklist Monday and designated fellow outfielder Victor Robles for project.
Thomas missed a month with an MCL sprain in his left knee. He was injured stealing second base in an April 23 recreation towards the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Thomas, 28, is batting .184 with 2 homers, 10 RBIs and 11 stolen bases in 22 video games this season.
He’s a profession .247 hitter with 59 residence runs, 190 RBIs and 46 steals in 453 video games with the Cardinals (2019-21) and Nationals, who acquired Thomas within the July 2021 commerce that despatched left-hander Jon Lester to St. Louis.
Robles, who turned 27 final week, is batting simply .120 with three runs and 4 stolen bases in 14 video games this season.
He hit .299 in 36 video games final season and is a profession .236 hitter with 31 residence runs, 156 RBIs and 70 steals in components of eight seasons with Washington. He completed sixth within the Nationwide League Rookie of the 12 months voting in 2019.
