The 2023 championship runner-up put in a managed efficiency final Sunday in Portugal to attain his first grand prix win since final 12 months’s Thailand GP.

After the collision between Marquez and Bagnaia, which he noticed on the massive screens across the monitor, Martin says he knew he needed to win the grand prix.
