Mariners’ J.P. Crawford strains indirect, goes on injured listing



ARLINGTON, Texas — Leadoff-hitting shortstop J.P. Crawford was positioned on the 10-day injured listing by the Seattle Mariners on Thursday due to a proper indirect pressure.

The transfer got here a day after Crawford felt his indirect tweak throughout batting apply, leading to him being a late scratch from the Mariners’ 5-1 loss at Texas.

“I shouldn’t have a timeline for J.P.,” supervisor Scott Servais mentioned. “We’ll consider it because it goes alongside. We hope to get him again as quickly as attainable.”

Crawford is off to a sluggish begin, hitting .198 with two homers and 9 RBIs in his first 22 video games.
